Metadata Program
What is it?
Our metadata program is a bespoke process to design the metadata model that will work for your organization and your chosen digital asset management system.
Why do it?
Getting a DAM is a great first step, but in order to make it possible to find and understand your assets, you need to build a solid information architecture. This is where a metadata model comes in. Metadata is the engine that makes your assets searchable and will tell users the need-to-know info about the assets they find. Bad metadata design can make your DAM hard to use, costing you both time and money, while also eroding user confidence in your DAM.
What’s involved?
In our program, we’ll work closely with you to understand the information needs of your organization and create an efficient and user-friendly metadata model. Client efforts will largely be through participating in a series of live sessions; from these live sessions and other acquired insights, Archimedia will create final products for your review and approval.
