Independent consultant Tammy Moorse has honed her skills in managing digital image, audio and video files though extensive assignments with Archimedia, CBC, University of Toronto, The Real News and other clients. Her expertise includes cataloguing, creating controlled vocabularies, digitizing files, beta testing metadata, controlling metadata quality, remotely troubleshooting database and technology issues, training new staff, and creating policy and training documentation. She holds master’s degrees both in library and information science and in art history.

In 2013, she was nominated for the CBC President’s Award for Pushing Forward Technological Innovation.

Tammy has a deep love of the arts and has served on the boards of directors of Gallery 1313 and of the Ontario Chapter of the Art Libraries Society of North America. She is based in Oakville, Ontario.
